About: JAX is the car! Known as guntraps, the extremely high speed vehicles are able to traverse many types of terrain (depending on their upgrades) and are equipped to keep their meatbag pilots alive in even the most extreme environments. Molten lava volcano core? Fine! Atmosphere of toxic lung-dissolving gas? Ok! JAX might not seem like a character but he is actually a unique and relatively old AI. All guntraps are actually AI computers with varying levels of awareness, abilities, and experience. JAX is a special one, having been built from the the ground up in an isolated Junkyard and trained uniquely. He is self aware and communicative, though he doesn't speak with a voice. He uses sounds and text. Compared to more advanced AI he might look obsolete, but looks are deciving. JAX is perfectly suited to work with Ellie, and their pairing gives them an edge that the others don't seem to have. The X-circuit brings a totally new level of risk to the field. Things that are illegal in the Superleague are allowed and encourged on the X. Hacking, weapons, and illegal modifcations are common. JAX's modifcations are mostly defensive.

Appearance: JAX kinda looks like a futuristic version of a Volkswagen beetle. He is mostly yellow, with some funny bosuzoku-style modifactions. He looks a little beat up, but hey. That's fine. He has the power where it counts.
